Takumi was helping his family copany work since he was in seventh grade. He gain his racing skill every time that he race, by the formal match record, Takumi is undefeated recer but in informal race, he lost to Bunta Fujiwara

Itsuki force Takumi to race by the name of 'Akani speedstar'. The first recorded race that he start was the time that 'RedSon' come to Takasaki to defeat every team and make the D project become to be the best team ever in Gunma.

Bunta Fujiwara with Impreza WRX

Takumi's Dad who used to be the best reacer in Akani track. His personality is not talkative, and like to teach Takumi what puzzle sentence. Even Takumi is the best driver in Takasaki but Takumi can never race to Bunta with the different of skill.

He is unrecored driver who used to be the best and the fastest racer in Gunma. He modify AE86 by himself, the reason that he let his son drive the car witch made before 2000s because if is the best car to develop driver skill without any support system.

Keisuke Takahashi with FD RX-7

Keisuke, the first driver who race with Takumi on Akina and lose to him. He was a confident person who never think that AE86 will beat FD RX-7. The uphill driver from 'RedSon' and 'D project' who drove the car by sense not experience opposite from his brothe(Ryosuke).

Second best in the 'RadSon' who used to have undefeated stat before he race with Tamun. He is also deader of 'RedSon' when Ryosuke does not want to go to watch the racing.

Ryosuke Takahashi with FC RX-7

Ryosuke, Keisuke's brother who used the be the best reacer in downhill of D project but he quit the position after lost to AE86 whitch driven by Takumi and trun to be the manager of the D Preject.

The founder of Akani RedSon with his own ability he could be the formal racer in the top list of position.

Itsuki Takeuchi with AE85

Itsuki, Takumi best friend who had been friend for long time. He does not have a good drivng skill as Takumi but his dream is to be a reacer. He start to drive when is he 18 years old, so by the experience Itsuki is the begenner who is learning in the first level.

The worst driver in the Akani 'SpeedStar' who could get into this team by putting 'SpeedStar' icon on AE86 without tell the onwer of the car.

Takumi older work mean who suggest Takumi to try to race with other in the real reacing with rival. He is the one who help Takumi to set up the odometer in AE86 after modify.

The founder of Akani 'Speedstar', the best team in Akina compare with other in Akina but by all driver skill this team is the worst team in the story and non of the mormal racer is not able to drift.

Shingo Shoji with EG6 Civic

Bad driver who race Takumi in dead math Tape. By his skill he is the top chart of 'Night Kids' but the choise to practice to in math Tape in downhill even in regular math his uphill is the best in 'Night Kids' but he likes to beat others in the bad ways more, so he race in Takumi at Akina and hit AE86 by purpose

By his car, is car is a good car with the high power of engine that can go on the uphill easily and the weight that can have an fest drift. But he choise to use his car to his other to make an acciden.

Kyoichi Sudo, Evo III CE9A

He is the team leader and driving ace of the Lancer Evolution-only 'Emperor' team from Gunma but the reason that he lost to Takumi because Ryosuke let Takumi trick Kyocichi to let him think Takumi is slower than he suppose to be. He is also one of the best driver in the series.

He is also a graduate of the racing school, the Todo School, despite having no prior-hinted connections to the institute: his Evo III is a stark contrast to the FWD Hondas the students use, and Sudo uses no Spoon Sports parts on his vehicle. He reject to use one of the best car in the serise from the Todo School.

The FD is the final generation of the RX-7 and is also the most beloved among the car community. It is known for its iconic unique engine, futuristic design, and outstanding performance.
The FC is the predecessor to the FD. It was favored by drifter for simplicality, great handling, and high-revving rotary engine
The AE85 is the older generation of the AE86. While sharing similar body styling with the 86, the AE85 is more of a town car then a potential race car.
The S13 is one of the first model of the S-chassis by Nissan. The S-chassis cars are famously lightweight, nimble, and easy to modify- making them the most common drift cars.
Despite being FWD, many racers still choose the Civic for its handling and V-TEC system. The V-TEC was ahead of its time and provided so much additional power that it can compete with forced induction cars.
